Interests
Currently, I am a faculty member in the
Educational Leadership Program where I teach courses in the
School Leadership Development Specialization to aspiring K-12
principals and supervisors of curriculum and instruction.
I am extremely interested in issues of leadership and serve
as the Training Director at the UCLID Center where I co-teach
a seminar on developmental disabilities and teach a seminar
on leadership in developmental disabilities. During the past
three years, I have conducted seminars for pediatric medicine
fellows, family practice fellows, division chiefs in pediatric
medicine at Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh, and students
in the School of Dental Medicine on mentoring, building leadership
capacity, and portfolio development. My research interests
spans the age range. I am interested in evaluation of early
literacy programs in early childhood centers as well as transition
to adulthood.
